Six of the Best Books I've Read so Far...

These past couple of years I have been reading like crazy and can I just say YA has been coming out with some INCREDIBLE books! (Sarah J. Maas and Leigh Bardugo you guys are my heroes!) I'm looking back at my GoodReads read list and realized I just have to share these  amazing books with you all!
Having read a total of 94 books (at least since I joined Goodreads back in 2015) I have easily found books that I have grown seriously attached too. Like it makes me wonder what life was like before I read those books. (Even after I finish reading them it doesn't mean I've finished thinking about them! Let alone imagining unrealistic scenes between the characters!) So naturally I have different categories for each of my favorite reads:

Best Fantasy Books (also best world building because the writing is ligit unbelievable!):

A Court of Mist and Fury
By: Sarah J. Maas
SummaryFeyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

This book is hands down the best book I think I have ever read! It is that amazing! Sarah J. Maas completely out did herself with this book! Feyre and Rhys are just so amazing I can't even explain it! The tension between those two is so fragile and vulnerable yet incredibly strong at the same time. Its a sign a really talented writer that they can devolp a relationship with multiple layers! Also the increible world of fairy that is created is out of this world! The way she describes it is so beautiful and detailed its like I'm there looking down at whats unfolding! I feel like I can touch the fabric she describes, taste the food that is served! But most importantly this book makes me FEEL! I grow so attached to all the characters and there really becomes a sense of family amongst the characters thats amazing to see!
I could go on about this books for days on end (It totally blew away the first book in the series, A Court of Thorns and Roses) but the bottom line is if you haven't read this book you NEED to! You will not regret it!

Six of Crows
By: Leigh Bardugo
Summary: Criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker has been offered wealth beyond his wildest dreams. But to claim it, he'll have to pull off a seemingly impossible heist:

Break into the notorious Ice Court
(a military stronghold that has never been breached)

Retrieve a hostage
(who could unleash magical havoc on the world)

Survive long enough to collect his reward
(and spend it)

Kaz needs a crew desperate enough to take on this suicide mission and dangerous enough to get the job done - and he knows exactly who: six of the deadliest outcasts the city has to offer. Together, they just might be unstoppable - if they don't kill each other first.

If A Cout of Mist and Fury is my all time favorite book than this would have to be my second all time favorite! Ahhhh.... this book! Where so I even begin? This book is so fantastic because it is so wonderfully different from any book I've ever read. The characters are each so uniquely different that you can't help but love them. Also the world of Ketterdam is amazing in all its grudgey, crime ridden glory. This story really captured my heart because its not over flowing with "heroes" or "the chosen one" or anything like that, but rather  group of criminals each with their own vices. The way Bardugo explains each characters history allows you to see the inner them and allows you to connect and understand why that character does what they do.
Plus Inej and Kaz... flat out amazing! They each are perfecty flawed and thats what makes them amazing! I love it when two people find each other and they both have their own baggage and problems, but yet their incredibly perfect for one another regardless. Also Nina and Matthew! Soooo adorable it hurts! Jesper... literally had me laughing out loud! These characters are what make this book a must read! The sequel Crooked Kingdom is even better than the first! Please, Please, please READ THIS BOOK! (It is fabulous!!!)
Incredible Power Couples (from the best series ever!) Books:

Vampire Academy
By: Richelle Mead
Summary: ONLY A TRUE BEST FRIEND CAN PROTECT YOU FROM YOUR IMMORTAL ENEMIES…

Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with a rare gift for harnessing the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from Strigoi; the fiercest vampires—the ones who never die. The powerful blend of human and vampire blood that flows through Rose Hathaway, Lissa's best friend, makes her a dhampir. Rose is dedicated to a dangerous life of protecting Lissa from the Strigoi, who are hell-bent on making Lissa one of them.

After two years of freedom, Rose and Lissa are caught and dragged back to St. Vladimir's Academy, a school for vampire royalty and their guardians-to-be, hidden in the deep forests of Montana. But inside the iron gates, life is even more fraught with danger…and the Strigoi are always close by.

Rose and Lissa must navigate their dangerous world, confront the temptations of forbidden love, and never once let their guard down, lest the evil undead make Lissa one of them forever…
This series was one of the first book series I completely and totally fell in love with! Its not necessary that it was the best writing in the world or the most intellectually stimulating, but rather just how addicting the whole story is! Rose is a totally funny character that you never get tired of because she is just so kick butt! You cant help but admire how she constantly speaks her mind, even when it gets her in more trouble than its worth. Also the action scenes and PLOT TWISTS! I was honestly guessing until the end of this series what was going to happen! After I would finish one book I would imediently need the next!
But since this is the Most Incredible Couples category we have to talk about Rose and Dimitri! These two get off to the typical start of "oh hey your my too old for me, yet incredibly hot new trainer" and ends with "How could I ever do life without you?" At first the two are in denial of there feelings, even though it is blatantly obvious of their attraction to one another (because when you put two good looking people together in a book it always ends in love). So much so that Rose was literally fighting for any reaction she could get from Dimitri. It was actually really amusing and is part of what makes me fall in love with this couple! Rose is always increbily vocal and sassy and than you have dimitri who is this massive man that doesn't say much but can seriously kick some butt (the two of them kicking butt together... awesome!). Throughout this series you see them both open up to one another in a way that is addicting to watch! Plus if Rose and Dimitri got you frustrated (which is rather easy because they are both incredibly STUBBORN!) you can always focus on Lissa and her lover boy (they are super cute!)
Totally read the series! Especially if you have a thing for the paranormal (vampires=fabulousness)

Bloodlines
By: Richelle Mead
Summary: I wasn't free of my past, not yet.

Sydney's blood is special. That's because she's an alchemist - one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets - and human lives. But the last encounter Sydney had with vampires got her in deep trouble with the other alchemists. And now with her allegiences in question, her future is on the line.

When Sydney is torn from her bed in the middle of the night, at first she thinks she's still being punished for her complicated alliance with dhampir Rose Hathaway. But what unfolds is far worse. Jill Dragomir - the sister of Moroi Queen Lissa Dragomir - is in mortal danger, and the Moroi must send her into hiding. To avoid a civil war, Sydney is called upon to act as Jill's guardian and protector, posing as her roommate in the unlikeliest of places: a human boarding school in Palm Springs, California. The last thing Sydney wants is to be accused of sympathizing with vampires. And now she has to live with one.

The Moroi court believe Jill and Sydney will be safe at Amberwood Prep, but threats, distractions, and forbidden romance lurk both outside - and within - the school grounds. Now that they're in hiding, the drama is only just beginning.
If you can't get enough of Vampire Academy (I totally went into a mood when it was over) than you need to read Bloodlines. Designed especially for fans of Adrian (if you read Vampire Academy than your familiar with the arrogant yet charming Adrian) this series is equally as fun as Vampire academy. Sydney is an alchemist who basically cleans up after the evil vampires, strigoi. She's been raised and bread to hate vampires and want to do nothing with their kind and then walks in Adrian. Thrown in with the unruly job of being a babysitter for Princess vampire Jill, who just happens to be linked to Adrian and you have a fiery romance that can't be resisted. Adrain and Sydney are so cute together it hurts! There banter is basically what makes this book over the top amazing! Adrian is so funny and charming you will be running over quotes in your head for the rest of your days. Throw in Richelle Meads unpredictable plot twists and you have a series you can't keep your hands off! The real question though... which couple is better? Rose and Dimitri or Sydney and Adrian? (Please help! I cannot decide!)
Most Unlikely (but fantastic) Relationship Books

Did I Mention I Love You?
By: Estelle Maskame
Summary: When sixteen-year-old Eden Munro agrees to spend the summer with her estranged father in the beachfront city of Santa Monica, California, she has no idea what she’s letting herself in for. Eden's parents are divorced and have gone their separate ways, and now her father has a brand new family. For Eden, this means she's about to meet three new step-brothers. The eldest of the three is Tyler Bruce, a troubled teenager with a short temper and a huge ego. Complete polar opposites, Eden quickly finds herself thrust into a world full of new experiences as Tyler's group of friends take her under their wing. But the one thing she just can't understand is Tyler, and the more she presses to figure out the truth about him, the more she finds herself falling for the one person she shouldn't – her step-brother.

Throw in Tyler's clingy girlfriend and a guy who has his eyes set on Eden, and there's secrets, lies and a whole lot of drama. But how can Eden keep her feelings under control? And can she ever work out the truth about Tyler?

Did I Mention I Love You is the first book in the phenomenal DIMILY trilogy, following the lives of Eden Munro and Tyler Bruce as they try to find their way in an increasingly confusing world.
This book is the epitome of the most unlikey of couples. I mean her stepbrother? You would think gross but the two are actually quite electric. Straight from the get go Tyler is a total A-hole. Think the worst guy you've ever met and then times it by ten. He is rude, selfish, and complete out of whack yet the whole time theres something that draws you to him. He's intriguing and reckless and Eden can't help but be thrown together in his plans because she lives under the same roof. I love this book because it takes risks and isn't afraid to push the boundaries on making a hatable guy. The two of them together are impossibly wrong for one another. I mean there step siblings! How could they make this work? Yet the mystery of Tyler is something you want to uncover before you complete give up hope on the guy. Throw in drama from Tylers ex and the beauty of CA's coast and you have a recipe for a truly intriguing story! This is one of my favorite bad boy stories! I just love it so much! Plus the writer is 16! Thats so young and the book is incredibly written! Please don't be turned off by the step sibling thing this book is really good and will make you feel frustrated out of your mind at times, but in a good way!

Perfect Chemistry
By: Simone Elkeles
Summary:When Brittany Ellis walks into chemistry class on the first day of senior year, she has no clue that her carefully created 'perfect' life is about to unravel before her eyes. She's forced to be lab partners with Alex Fuentes, a gang member from the other side of town, and he is about to threaten everything she's worked so hard for: her flawless reputation, her relationship with her boyfriend, and the secret that her home life is anything but perfect.

Alex is a bad boy and he knows it. So when he makes a bet with his friends to lure Brittany into his life, he thinks nothing of it. But soon Alex realizes Brittany is a real person with real problems, and suddenly the bet he made in arrogance turns into something much more.

In a passionate story about looking beneath the surface, Simone Elkeles breaks through the stereotypes and barriers that threaten to keep Brittany and Alex apart.

OMG this book was the classic love story. The one you will read over and over again and pretend like you don't love it even though secretly you dream of a love just like this one. It is the original bad boy and good girl love story but instead it doesn't focus on each others flaws. This book defies all stereotypes society puts on teens. Brittany seem like the picture perfect rich girl, and that how Alex see her at first but then when fate brings them together the two are forced to see each other for who they really are! This book pulls on your heart strings like crazy! I swear you'll never judge a book by its cover ever again! You will also never look at a cute mexican boy the same way for the rest of your life! This book allows you glimpses into two sides of the same world! It is so addicting I could not stop reading it! This type of book just makes you feel good! Please, read this! Its a classic!
